A Child Seriously Injured in A Blast of Explosive Remnant ,Western Yemen

The Yemeni Landmine Records Center (a non-governmental organization) announced on Tuesday that a child was seriously injured in an explosion caused by an explosive remnant of war south of Hodeidah, western Yemen.

In a brief statement, the center reported that Yahya Mashhoor (13 years old) was severely injured by an explosion of an explosive remnant of war in “Al-Taif” area of Ad Durayhimi district, south of Hodeidah city.

From time to time, a number of civilian casualties, including children and women, fall as victims of explosive remnants of war.

The Houthis have planted hundreds of thousands of landmines and improvised explosive devices in residential areas and public roads in various Yemeni regions and cities, causing thousands of civilian casualties, most of them women and children, according to Saba News Agency.
