Socotra Expected to Be Affected by Upcoming Monsoon Rains from the Arabian Sea

Meteorological experts have forecast today, Saturday, that Socotra Archipelago Governorate will be affected by a wave of monsoon rains coming from the Arabian Sea.
Meteorology expert Abu Naser al-Babakri stated that the latest satellite imagery indicates the widespread spread of cumulus clouds over various areas of the Arabian Sea.
He added, “It is expected, over the next four days, that these clouds will advance westward towards Socotra Island, reaching the southern coastal areas by the end of the next week. There are expectations of light to moderate rainfall, which may reach heavy levels in some coastal areas and southern interior highlands, reaching some of the western highlands.
