Yemen Monitor/Paris/Agencies:
French Airlines announced on November 3 that it has suspended all its flights over the Red Sea following a report by one of its flights crew members having a “shining object” insight during their flight over Sudan.
According to a statement, French Airlines confirmed that it has decided to suspend flights over the Red Sea “until further advise.”
So far, the French national airline is the only carrier to implement such a precautionary measure in the Red Sea region.
The airline’s decision reflects the fact that the Red Sea area is considered extremely hazardous due to a series of Houthi attacks on ships linked to the war in Gaza.
