IMF: Yemen May Resume Publishing Public Finance and Debt Data Soon

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has stated that Yemen may be able to resume publishing public finance and debt indicators that are in line with international best practices in the “near future.”
Speaking at a panel discussion during the IMF’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., Bruno Rocha said that the IMF’s statistics department is focused on strengthening governance in the country.
He added, “This has included improving coordination between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning.”
