Yemeni Meteorological Center: Unstable Weather Conditions to Continue Across Most Parts of the Country

The National Meteorological Center confirmed on Wednesday that forecast data indicates the continuation of unstable weather conditions in most parts of the country.
It predicted heavy to moderate thundershowers and downdrafts in the governorates of (Mahra, Hadramaut, Shabwah).
It also expected scattered rain with occasional thunderstorms in scattered areas of (Socotra Archipelago, Abyan, Al Bayda, Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Al Dhale, Rima, Al Mahwit, Hajjah and western parts of Dhamar and Sa’ada) and parts of the highlands, Tihama plain, and the western coast.
It also forecast sea disturbance and high waves in the Gulf of Aden and the eastern and southern coasts.
The center warned citizens in areas expected to receive rain to avoid valleys and flood channels during and after rainfall and thunderstorms.

It warned drivers of reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to low dense clouds, fog, and mist.
