AFC U-17 Asian Cup: Yemen Youth Team to Wear Red Against Myanmar

A technical meeting was held today, Tuesday, in the Vietnamese city of Viet Tri for the teams in Group Nine participating in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, qualifying for the 2025 Saudi Arabia finals.

According to the Yemen Football Association’s media center on Facebook, the meeting discussed the organizational and technical aspects of the matches.

It was confirmed that our national youth team will wear a full red kit (shirt and shorts), with black socks, while the goalkeeper will wear a full black kit. In contrast, the Myanmar team will wear a full white kit.

In the second match, the Kyrgyz Republic team will face our team in a full red kit, while our team will wear a full white kit. In the third match against Vietnam, our team will also wear white, while the Vietnamese team will wear their traditional red kit.

It is worth noting that our team will play its opening match tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12 noon Yemen time, against Myanmar.

Group Nine includes the teams of Yemen, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Kyrgyzstan. The top team of each group will qualify for the finals, in addition to the best five teams that finish second.
