Yemeni Meteorological center Predicts Thunderstorms in Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, and Other Governorates

Yemen Monitor/weather forecast:

The National Meteorological Center forecast on Saturday that several governorates, including Socotra Archipelago, will experience varying levels of rainfall.

The weather bulletin stated that parts of the deserts and highlands of Mahra, Hadhramaut, Lahj, Al Bayda, Dhamar, Taiz, Ibb, and Al Mahwit governorates, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain, are expected to receive varying levels of rainfall accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.

Scattered rainfall is also predicted for parts of the governorates of Raymah, Hajjah, Sa’ada, the southern and western coasts, and Socotra Archipelago.

The center warned citizens to avoid valleys and flood-prone areas during heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

Drivers on mountainous roads were urged to exercise caution due to reduced visibility caused by rain and dense low clouds.
