Yemeni Meteorological Center Forecasts Varying intensity of thundery Rainfall

The National Meteorological Center forecast on Tuesday partly cloudy to clear skies with a tendency towards coolness during the early morning hours, with a possibility of varying intensity thunderstorms in the coming hours.
It indicated that the areas covered by rain include parts of the governorates of “Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, Rimeh, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, and western Saada,” and scattered rain in parts of the governorates of “Abyan, Al Dhale, and western Dhamar.”
It noted partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a possibility of scattered rain in parts of the Tihama plain and the eastern coasts, and moderate to active winds around Socotra archipelago with speeds ranging between (10-20 knots), and light to moderate winds, sometimes active, on the rest of the coasts.
It also forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies, and moderate speed winds causing dust and sand.
The Meteorology warned citizens in areas expected to receive rain to avoid valleys and flood channels during and after rainfall and thunderstorms as well as the decrease in horizontal visibility due to rainfall and the formation of thick cumulus clouds.
