Yemeni Defense Minister Returns to Aden Following an Official Visit to Saudi Arabia

Yemeni Defense Minister Mohsen Al-Daha’eri has returned to the city of Aden after an official visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he held discussions with officials from the Saudi Ministry of Defense, the Joint Forces Command, the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, and several ambassadors from brotherly and friendly countries.

During the visit, the Yemeni minister discussed enhancing security and military cooperation, combating terrorism, and bolstering maritime security amid ongoing hostile actions by the Houthi terrorist militia, which threatens the stability of Yemen and the region, as well as maritime navigation routes.

During his visit, the Defense Minister met with the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Salman, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Mogheidi, Saudi Ambassador Mohammed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador Mohammed Al-Zaabi, and the Ambassador of Oman to Riyadh, Faisal Al Sa’eed.

He also met with U.S. Ambassador Stephen Fagin, UK Ambassador Abda Sherif, French Ambassador Katrina Kamoun, Indian Ambassador Suhail Khan, South Korean Ambassador Bong Ki-do, Chinese Charge d’Affaires Zhao Qing, and several military attachés from friendly countries.
