Ma’rib Governorate Police announced the arrest of 176 suspects in connection with 156 crimes and incidents out of a total of 157 non-felony crimes during the third quarter of 2024.
In a statement, Ma’rib Police explained that the number of victims reached 162 individuals, including 48 death cases (6 of whom were female) and 62 injuries (7 of whom were female).
The statement further indicated that 42 crimes and cases were referred to the public prosecution, while 45 crimes were referred to specialized authorities. Procedures were halted in 57 incidents and crimes, 12 cases were settled through reconciliation and waiver, and one case remains under investigation.
