Yemeni Presidential Council Member Tariq Saleh: A Houthi Alienation Amid a Massive Popular Celebration of the September Revolution

Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council member Tariq Saleh stated on Wednesday that the stark contrast between the Yemeni people’s stance and that of the Houthi group regarding the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution reveals the group’s allegiance to Iran and its aggressive position against the homeland and its revolution.
In a tweet on his account on the platform “X,” he said, “The overwhelming popular celebration across all regions of the republic is met with a Houthi alienation that is turning into fear and violence.”
He emphasized that “immortality and glory to the torch of revolution that has liberated the people from the chains of slavery to the realms of freedom, and it is indeed a revolution until the people reclaim their republic.”
In recent days, the Houthi group has intensified its campaigns and threats targeting dozens of activists, politicians, educators, and community leaders in various areas under its control, in response to their joy in celebrating the glorious September 26 Revolution or their calls to commemorate its sixty-second anniversary.
