Meteorologists Predict the Return of Seasonal Thunderstorms in Yemen

Meteorologists have forecast a return of seasonal convective thunderstorms to some southern and western highlands today, Monday.
Meteorologist Abu Nasser al-Babakri said that after a periodic of monitoring the weather conditions in most parts of Yemen, we have noticed a return of seasonal convective thunderstorms to some southern and western highlands in our country.
He pointed out that satellite images show the beginning of rainy thunderstorm activity on some highlands of Abyan, Lahj, al-Dhale’a, Taiz, and Ibb, with a noticeable return of convective formations on the highlands of southern Hadhramaut and Shabwa.
He added that these regions are expected to witness thunderstorms over the next two days.
