The Houthi armed group announced on Saturday that it had shot down an American drone in the Ma’rib province in eastern Yemen.
In a statement, the group’s forces said they downed an American (MQ-9) drone in the skies over Ma’rib, claiming it was “the eighth drone to be shot down.”
The Pentagon has yet to comment on the claims made by the Houthis.
