The Saudi newspaper, Okaz, reported on Monday that the Kingdom has always been keen to understand and meet the needs of the Yemeni people.

In its editorial titled “The Kingdom and Supporting the Yemeni People,” Okaz highlighted the launch of a neurosurgery medical campaign at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden, under the auspices of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, from August 17 to 23. The campaign provides free neurosurgery and spinal cord surgeries for patients suffering from various neurological diseases. This initiative is a continuation of the humanitarian steps taken by the Kingdom to stand by the Yemeni people in all governorates and districts, meeting all humanitarian and medical needs in Yemen. Approximately 25 healthcare professionals, including a select group of neurosurgeons, spine surgeons, nurses, and technicians, are participating in the campaign.

According to the newspaper, the Kingdom has always been keen to understand the needs of the Yemeni people and work to meet them. This commitment has been realized on the ground through health, education, and infrastructure projects, in addition to billions of dollars in humanitarian aid.

The newspaper added that a number of qualitative projects are currently being implemented, including complexes, hospitals, universities, schools, roads, training institutes, and rehabilitation programs. All of these projects fall under the efforts of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, according to plans that take into account the most important needs of the Yemeni people. Efforts are underway to expedite their implementation so that they can be provided free of charge to the people. This reflects the depth of relations between the Kingdom and Yemen and their peoples, which are based on brotherhood, neighborhood, a shared destiny, and a promising common future.
