New Low-Pressure System to Hit Yemen

Meteorologists have forecast that Yemen will be affected by a new low-pressure system today, Monday.
Meteorology expert Abu Nasser Al-Babkari said that Al-Mahra Governorate will witness the onset of a new rainy weather condition.
He confirmed that this weather condition is completely different from its predecessors, as it has all the factors that increase its intensity and strength.
He added: “Heavy rains are expected to concentrate along the southern highlands and coasts, with their impact extending to some desert areas and western highlands.”
He continued: “The peak of its effects is expected to start today and continue until Thursday.”
