Yemeni Meteorological Center Warns of Heavy Rains and Severe Winds in the Coming Hours

Yemeni Meteorological Center issued a warning on Sunday about heavy rains and severe winds in several governorates over the next few hours.
The center indicated the spread of CB clouds along the western coasts and highlands, and the activity of severe thunderstorm cells in parts of the western highlands, including the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Rima, Mahwit, southern Hajjah, western Sana’a, Dhamar, eastern Hodeidah, northern Dhale’a, parts of Saada and Amran, and southern Hadhramaut.
The center predicted very heavy rains accompanied by thunder in the governorates of Saada and Hajjah, and heavy rains in Hodeidah and parts of Amran, Mahwit, and western Sana’a.
Additionally, the center expected heavy thundery rains with strong winds in parts of the governorates of Hadhramaut, Al Jawf, and Mahra, and moderate thundery rains with active to strong winds on the southern and eastern coasts of the governorates of Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadhramaut, and Mahra.
