The US Central Command announced on Wednesday that it had destroyed two Houthi unmanned boats in the Red Sea over the past 24 hours.
In a statement, it said, “Over the past 24 hours, US Central Command forces successfully destroyed two Iranian-backed Houthi boats in the Red Sea.”
It added that “these boats posed a clear and imminent threat to US forces, coalition forces, and commercial shipping in the region,” considering that “this reckless and dangerous behavior by the Iranian-backed Houthis continues to threaten regional stability and security.”
