Local residents and eyewitnesses confirmed today, thursday, that most districts in Hodeidah are devastated, not just the governorate’s capital.
Residents said that all districts of the governorate, including the city of Hodeidah, are now disaster areas due to floods and heavy rains, and the floods are still raging.
Estimates indicate that the heavy rains have caused dozens of deaths and hundreds of missing persons as a result of the floods that swept through the governorate in recent hours.
