Axios: US Delegation in Saudi Arabia to Discuss “Implementing the Political Process” in Yemen Following De-escalation Agreement

The US news outlet Axios has revealed that a delegation headed by senior US officials specializing in the Middle East from the White House, State Department, and Defense Department, Brett McGurk, has arrived in Saudi Arabia to discuss the Yemen file.

The website explained that “bilateral cooperation continues between the US and Saudi Arabia to implement the political process in Yemen and enhance stability in Yemen and the Red Sea.”

The US delegation will also discuss the recent military escalation between the Israeli occupation and the Houthis.

According to the website, the US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, is accompanying the US delegation to Saudi Arabia
