Yemen Expected to Be Affected by an Atmospheric Depression in the Coming Hours

Weather expert Jameel Al-Hajj has predicted that Yemen will be affected by an Atmospheric Depression starting from Tuesday evening.
In a post on his Facebook page, he stated that the Atmospheric Depression will bring heavy rainfall to Yemen, adding that the heaviest rainfall will be concentrated in the Sana’a-Mahwit-Hodeidah triangle, as well as parts of Mahwit, southwestern and western Sana’a, eastern Hodeidah, and areas of Ibb governorate, along with Utamah and parts of Wasab.
He further added, “Heavy rainfall is also expected in areas of Hajjah, Amran, Saada, Sana’a governorate, and possibly parts of the capital Sana’a, Mahwit, the highlands and plains of Hodeidah, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, eastern Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Yafa, Al-Bayda, and Shabwa.”
He continued, “Scattered areas of Hadramaut, Marib, western Al-Jawf, Mahra, and Abyan will also experience heavy rainfall, which may change to moderate to heavy rainfall.”
In Aden governorate, Al-Hajj indicated the possibility of rainfall, adding that Taiz governorate will witness rainfall in some parts of the northern, eastern, and southern outskirts of the governorate.
He emphasized the importance of caution regarding the unpredictable weather during Tuesday and Wednesday, including the possibility of sudden and unexpected heavy rainfall.
