Houthis Announce the complete Extinguishing of Hodeidah Fires After 8 Days of Israeli Airstrikes

The Houthi-controlled Interior Ministry (not internationally recognized) announced on Sunday that civil defense teams and supporting forces had successfully extinguished “all fires” in the city of Hodeidah, which were caused by Israeli occupation airstrikes.
A Houthi spokesperson stated that all fires had been extinguished, expressing gratitude to the forces and those cooperating with the group’s agencies.
On Saturday, an oil tank in Hodeidah port exploded, ignited by fires caused by Israeli airstrikes on July 20th.
The Israeli occupation had previously targeted 38 fuel storage facilities in Hodeidah governorate, and sources told Yemen Monitor that the Houthis would face difficulties importing petroleum products.
