The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning predicted on Saturday the continuation of thunderstorms in several governorates.
The weather bulletin stated that thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by hail at times, are expected from Sa’ada in the north to Taiz in the south, extending eastward to include the governorates of Lahij and Al Bayda.
Scattered thunderstorms are also expected in the governorates and highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, Mahra, Aden, Hodeidah, and the Tihama Plain.
Citizens have been warned to avoid valleys and flood channels and to take precautions against thunderstorms in mountainous areas expected to receive rainfall.
Drivers have been urged to exercise caution due to reduced visibility caused by rain, fog, and mist.
