Houthi Media Reports: Airstrikes Target Yemeni Island
Yemen Monitor / News Room
On Friday, the Houthi armed group declared that the US and Britain had conducted four airstrikes on Kamaran Island, which is situated in the Red Sea and administratively belongs to the coastal governorate of Al-Hodaidah in western Yemen.
Kamaran is the largest of Yemen’s islands, located in the Red Sea and falling under the jurisdiction of the coastal governorate of Al-Hodaidah.
From time to time, the Houthi group frequently announces that the coastal city of Al-Hodaidah, overlooking the Red Sea, has been subjected to US and British airstrikes, following their assaults on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
The Houthis pledge to continue targeting vessels associated with “Israel” until hostilities against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip cease, despite the US and British strikes on targets under the Houthi-control areas in Yemen.
