US President Joe Biden has been briefed on a drone attack in Tel Aviv, which resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man and injuring at least 10 others.
A White House official said: “The President was also briefed on the drone attack in Tel Aviv overnight.”
The Houthis in Yemen announced on Friday that they were responsible for the blast, which is the latest attack by the Iranian-backed group, claiming it is a response to Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.
The blast occurred in a central area that includes several diplomatic missions, including the US embassy branch.
