Eight civilians, including children and women, were killed and injured in Houthi shelling on a rural area in Taiz governorate (southwestern Yemen) today, Wednesday.
Local sources said that “the Houthis launched a drone strike on the village of Hubur in Al-Shaqab area in Sabr Al-Mwad’im Directorate southwest of Taiz city.”
The sources explained that the shelling resulted in the death of a man and two children and the injury of 5 others, all of them women and children, who were taken to hospitals for treatment.
From time to time, the Houthis launch intensive shelling on a number of populated areas in the Al-Dhabab area west of Taiz governorate, which mostly result in civilian casualties, mostly children and women.
