Yemen condemns the massacre of the “UNRWA ” school in Gaza

The Yemeni government vehemently condemns and deplores the Israeli aggression that targeted the UNRWA-affiliated school in the Al-Nusairat refugee camp in  Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians and injuries.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement calling for an immediate end to the repeated violations and attacks by Israeli occupation forces, which constitute a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws.

The ministry reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people, and the achievement of their aspirations for security, stability, and a dignified life, as well as the establishment of their independent state with East Quds as its capital.

On Saturday, the Israeli occupation army claimed to have targeted Palestinian militants inside Al-Ja’ony school, which is affiliated with UNRWA and shelters refugees in Al-Nusairat camp, resulting in the deaths of 16 Palestinians and injuries to 50 others.

The Israeli army stated that its forces “attacked a group of armed individuals who were present inside Al-Ja’ony school, which was used as a command center by Hamas militants to launch attacks against our forces”.

It is worth noting that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip has risen to 39,100 since October 7th, with 87,705 injuries, according to data from  Gaza Health Ministry.
