After Threatening Saudi Airports ……. Houthi Refuse the Return of Sana’a Airport Flights
Yemen Monitor/Sana’a/Special:
Houthi officials said on Monday that they have set conditions for the return of flights to Sana’a airport and have stopped flights to the Jordanian capital, Amman.
An official at Sana’a airport told “Yemen Monitor” that scheduled flights to Queen Alia Airport in Amman have been canceled, although they were scheduled to depart until dawn on Tuesday.
Another official in the Houthi Ministry of Transport said that the conditions are clear: either open the airport to three new destinations that have been scheduled and sent to Yemen Airways and the Saudi-led Arab coalition, or everyone will pay the price for the closure of the airport.
On Sunday, the group’s leader threatened in a speech, saying: “Sana’a airport in exchange for Riyadh airport.” Houthi-affiliated media then published a video showing aerial footage from drones and coordinates of important and prominent airports and ports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The video included pictures of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, as well as Ras Tanura, Jizan and Jeddah ports.
