Houthi media: US strike on Kamaran Island
Yemen Monitor/News Room
The Houthi armed group announced on Wednesday that US and Britain had launched an airstrike on Kamaran Island, which is affiliated with the Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen.
Al-Masirah TV, the Houthi mouthpiece, said in an urgent message on Telegram that “the US-British aggression aircraft launched an airstrike on Kamaran Island (west)”.
The channel did not provide any details about the results of this targeting.
Kamaran is the largest Yemeni island located in the Red Sea, and is administratively affiliated with the Hodeidah coastal governorate in the west of the country.
From time to time, the Houthi group repeatedly announces that Al-Hodeidah coast overlooking the Red Sea is subjected to US and British raids, due to their attacks against commercial ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
The Houthis pledge to continue targeting ships linked to “Israel” until the war on the Palestinians in Gaza Strip stops, despite the US and British strikes on targets affiliated with the movement in Yemen
