Yemen Meteorological center Predicts Expansion of Rainy weather in the Coming Hours

The National Center for Meteorology on Tuesday forecast scattered rains over most of the country’s provinces in the coming hours.

In the weather forecast it expects rain accompanied by thunderstorms and hail sometimes in the provinces of (Ibb, Taiz, Al-Mahwit, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Ad-Dhale’ and Raymah) and parts of (Sana’a, Amran, Sa’dah and Tihama Plain).

It also expected scattered rains over parts of the provinces of (Hadramout, Al-Mahrah, Shabwah, Abyan and Lahij).

It reported that it expects very hot weather in the desert areas, where the maximum temperatures range between (38 – 44) degrees Celsius, and hot in the plains and coastal areas, where the maximum temperatures range between (35 – 40) degrees Celsius.

It also expected strong winds around Socotra Archipelago, reaching a maximum speed of 42 knots, and moderate to active speed on the eastern and southern coasts.

It warned citizens against being in the valleys and torrents and from thunderstorms in the areas expected to rain as well as the reduction of the horizontal visibility due to the dense low clouds and rainfall.

Warning was also against the hot and very hot weather in the deserts and internal plateaus, plains and coastal areas, and advised not to be directly exposed to sunlight.

It urged fishermen and seafarers from the sea disturbance and the rise of waves around Socotra Archipelago and the eastern and southern coasts.
