Yemen Monitor/Newsroom
The UK Maritime Trade Operations Authority (UKMTO) said in a statement that a ship targeted by the Houthis on June 12, 66 nautical miles southwest of the Yemeni city of Hodeidah, is “believed to have sunk” in the Red Sea.
The crew of the Greek-owned MV Tutor had broadcast footage documenting the first moments of a Houthi attack on their ship in the Red Sea.
The circulated footage shows moments of tension among the ship’s crew after being targeted, and attempts to deal with the incident and make contact to inform the relevant authorities.
The crew also documented their evacuation from the ship.
