The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that its forces destroyed four air defense radar systems, a drone, and a patrol boat belonging to the Houthis in Yemen over the past 24 hours.

“Over the past 24 hours, US Central Command forces have successfully destroyed four air defense radar systems,” CENTCOM said in a statement on X. “A patrol boat in an area controlled by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen was also destroyed.”

It added that its forces “were able to destroy a drone that was launched towards the Red Sea from an area controlled by the Houthis.”

“There are no reports of any injuries or damage to US or coalition forces or commercial vessels,” the statement said.

CENTCOM also confirmed  that the drone, radar systems, and patrol boat that were targeted “pose an imminent threat to the US, coalition forces, and commercial vessels in the region.”

As of 7:45 AM (GMT), the Houthi group has not commented on CENTCOM’s statement, but it had previously announced on Monday evening that the US and Britain had targeted Al-Hodeidah province in western Yemen with 10 airstrikes within a few hours. This came after the group announced that Al-Hodeidah airport was targeted by 5 US-British airstrikes and 4 other airstrikes on Kamaran Island in the same province.
