First Footage of a Booby-Trapped unmanned Boat causing a cargo ship sunk in the Red Sea
Yemen Monitor/Sana’a/Exclusive:
A video has spreaded on social media showing the first view of the Houthi unmanned surface vessel (USV) that struck the M/V Tutor ship in the Red Sea last week.
The footage also shows the bewildered reaction of the security crew of the Greek-owned, Liberian-flagged bulk carrier as the suicide boat approached.
This incident marks the first time that commercial ships have actually been affected during the Houthi attacks targeting ships since last November.
The Houthi drone boat appeared to have dolls on board, with no visible signs of an antenna, although it is difficult to tell from the distance at which it can be seen and the resolution of the video.
The ship targeted by the Houthis sank in the Red Sea.
