Yemen Monitor/Taiz/ Exclusive:
The opening of the Taiz-Al-Hoban road in central Yemen has been postponed until Tuesday, according to sources for “Yemen Monitor,” after it was scheduled for today, Monday.
The sources said that the parties – the Houthis and the internationally recognized government – agreed to postpone the opening of the main road until the completion of security arrangements from both sides.
The sources pointed out that at the same time, all earthen barriers will be removed.
According to sources in the Houthi-controlled areas, marks were placed today around the areas where mines are located.
A source in the government Committee in Taiz Road Opening said that the road will be open from 6 am to 6 pm.
The sources spoke to “Yemen Monitor” on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media.
