The Yemeni Embassy in Kuwait announced on Sunday the launch of the first direct flight between the two countries, starting next Saturday for the first time in ten years.
The embassy said in a post on its Facebook page that the first flight of the direct air route between the Republic of Yemen and Kuwait (Aden/Kuwait/Aden) will be launched on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Direct flights between Yemen and Kuwait were suspended after the Houthi coup against the state and their control of the capital Sanaa on September 21, 2014.
