Philippines: the 23 Filipino crew members are safe after the latest Houthi attack

The Philippine Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said on Sunday that all the 23 Filipino crew members on board a ship attacked by the Houthis on Saturday are “safe and unharmed.”
The DMW added that their ship, which sustained minor damage, was sailing near the Yemeni coastal city of Hodeidah when it was attacked.
The agency said the ship is now continuing its voyage to its next port of call.
The DMW also said it is closely coordinating with international maritime authorities,and shipping companies on the status of ships carrying Filipino seafarers sailing in high-risk zones in the Red Sea.
