US Military Says it Intercepted Houthi Attack Over the Red Sea

The US Central Command said it destroyed three drones launched from a Houthi-controlled area in Yemen towards the Red Sea on Saturday.
According to a post by the command on “X” , there were no reports of injuries or damage to US or coalition ships or commercial vessels.
The same source considered that these drones posed an imminent threat to both coalition forces and commercial ships in the region.
The command added that these measures were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition, and commercial ships
