ranian news agency: Houthis are developing missile cities
Yemen Monitor/Tehran/ Exclusive:
The Iranian news agency (IRNA) said on Saturday that the Houthi armed group is on its way to developing missile cities in the areas under their control.
The official agency said, “Thanks to recent experiments and years of war with the US and the Arab coalition, a network of tunnels is being developed underground to enhance the function of their offensive and defensive systems.”
It pointed out that the Houthis, “like the axis of resistance, seek to obtain a mix of guerrilla fighters, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, as well as drones.”
IRNA said that what was recently discovered through satellite images is Yemen’s use of underground tunnels.
The agency noted that the Houthis are following the path of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon by using underground tunnels in military operations, indicating that they “have developed their underground tunnel network despite all the problems.”
Satellite images of Houthi underground facilities were published and Yemen Monitor had reposted them from the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
