Bahraini Foreign Minister in Aden

On Thursday, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, received the Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif al-Zayani in the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden.
According to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Alimi praised the distinguished bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the great political support provided by Bahrain within the coalition for the internationally recognized government “in various regional and international forums” during his meeting with al-Zayani.
Saba added: “The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, the two countries’ common positions on developments in the region, and the challenges facing international peace and security.”
For its part, the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that Al-Zayani visited Aden as part of a tour that included several Arab countries.
The agency added: “The meeting also exchanged views on the political and security scene in Yemen, with a focus on government efforts to strengthen security, stability and development in addition to the developments in Gaza and their repercussions on regional security and stability.”
Earlier, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council received the credentials of Bahrain’s new ambassador to the country, Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
