The National Meteorological Center predicted today, Monday, the occurrence of scattered thunderstorms with varying intensity in several provinces.
The center stated in a statement that it expects scattered thunderstorms with varying intensity in parts of the provinces of Rima, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale, Lahj, Al-Bayda, and Abyan.
scattered rain in parts of the eastern and southern coasts, as well as in the adjacent inland regions and parts of the provinces of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sana’a, Al Mahra, Shabwah, Hadhramaut, and the Socotra Archipelago.
Moreover, hot weather is expected with temperatures ranging between 34 and 40 degrees on the coastal plains and desert areas during the daytime.
Citizens were warned to expect rain, thunderstorms, flash floods in streams and valleys, reduced visibility on Mountainous roads due to rainfall, fog, or mist.
Citizens were advised to take precautions against the hot weather in desert areas and coastal plains during the day.
