The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced sending seized Iranian weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, on Tuesday.
In a statement on”X” , CENTCOM said that the US government transferred rifles, shells, and ammunition to the Ukrainian military on Thursday as a help to defend the Russian invasion.
It added that the weapons were being sent by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to the Houthis in Yemen in a violation to the UN Security Council resolution.The weapons were confiscated from four ships between May 22, 2021 and February 15, 2023.
