Moreover, scattered varying intensity rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Al Bayda, Al Dhalea, Shabwah, the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, and the highlands adjacent to the Tihama plain, extending eastwards to include parts of the inland plateaus and deserts.

Additionally, the formation of fog is expected in the western mountainous areas and inland plateaus, along with strong to powerful winds in the Gulf of Aden and Bab el Mandeb, and the southern western coast.

Citizens in areas expecting rain were advised to take precautions and not to be present or cross through flooding areas or riverbeds during and after rainfall.
