Yemeni Prime Minister heading to Riyadh to meet Saudi officials

Yemeni Prime and Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak arrived to Jeddah today, Wednesday, for an official visit during which he will meet Saudi officials.

The Council of Ministers said in a brief statement on “X” that Bin Mubarak will discuss in his meetings with Saudi officials “the bilateral relations between the two countries and the issues of common interest.”

On February 8th, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak took the constitutional oath in the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, three days after the decision of the Yemeni Presidential Council to appoint him as Prime Minister replacing his precedent ” Maeen Abdulmalik”.

The President of the Presidential Council placed the new Prime Minister before the urgent priorities that his government must undertake in the coming period.
