Yemen declares Monday as the first day of Ramadan

Yemen announced on Sunday evening that Monday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
This came according to a statement issued by the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments.
The ministry said in the statement that based on the confirmation of the sighting of the crescent moon in some countries that share the same crescent moon sightings with the Republic of Yemen, the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance announces that tomorrow, Monday, March 11, 2024, is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.
For its part, the Crescent Committee in the Houthi-controlled province of Hodeidah also announced that Monday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan
