A wave of new strikes has targeted the strategic western Yemeni port city of Hudaydah, only hours after the United States launched attacks against targets in Yemen for a second straight day afterIranian-backed Houthis warned it would retaliate for a series of attacks on its facilities.
A military source that a site on the outskirts of Hudaydah, which Houthis fighters used to launch a rocket was hit.
The US military early Saturday struck another Houthi-controlled site in Sana’a that they have determined was putting commercial vessels in the Red Sea at risk.
