Yemen Condemns Israeli Bombing of Gaza and Demands Urgent International Action

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the bombing carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, which resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties and injuries.
The Ministry, in an official statement received by the official Yemeni News Agency, considered this attack a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and conventions, and a deliberate thwarting of regional and international efforts aimed at ending the war and achieving peace.
The statement called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in stopping these crimes against the Palestinian people, and to work towards declaring a permanent ceasefire that guarantees the protection of civilians and fulfills the aspirations of the Palestinian people for security, stability, and a decent life.
“Israel” resumed its aggression against the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday with a series of violent raids, resulting in 429 martyrs and 528 injured, according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
The Israeli occupation army announced that 100 aircraft participated in the resumption of raids on the Gaza Strip, and said that the attack will continue as long as necessary, and will expand beyond air strikes.
The occupation raids targeted various locations in the Strip, including Al-Maghazi camp (central), Khan Yunis and Rafah (south), and Jabalia and Beit Hanoun camps (north).
At the beginning of March, the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which lasted 42 days, ended, while Israel refused to enter the second phase and end the war, which has claimed the lives of more than 40,000 martyrs since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
