Rescue of Three Ships Off the Coast of Hadramout

The Coast Guard forces in Hadramout successfully rescued three ships from the risk of sinking over two days due to severe weather conditions.

The Coast Guard operations room reported receiving a distress call from an Omani vessel named Admiral, which was in danger of sinking off the shores of Mukalla due to high waves.

Rescue teams immediately mobilized, using appropriate tactics to navigate the rough seas, with the support of volunteers from local boat owners and citizens. They managed to save the ship and its crew.

In a separate incident, a locally made vessel called Shabih Al-Reeh capsized off the coast of Al-Rayyan due to overloading. Rescue teams successfully saved the ship and its crew, with two crew members transported to the hospital for treatment.

Additionally, a third ship named Amrowa 2 experienced a malfunction off the coast of Abd Al-Kuri Island. Rescue teams provided it with fuel and supplies, ensuring its safety until it reached Qusay’ir port.

These operations highlight the preparedness of the Hadramout Coast Guard to respond to emergencies and their commitment to maritime safety.
