The U.S. Central Command announced on Sunday that its operations against the Houthi group in Yemen are ongoing.
The command released video footage of the attacks on the Houthis, which began on Saturday evening.
National Security Advisor Mike Wiltz stated that President Donald Trump took action to protect US troops and assets, safeguard freedom of navigation, and deter adversaries.
He added, “The reckless leadership of Biden encouraged the Houthis. But that is no longer the case.”
Houthi sources and media reported on Saturday and Sunday that U.S. airstrikes targeted the provinces of Dhamar, Sa’ada, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, and Marib, in addition to the capital, Sana’a.
