The Yemen Gas Company announced the dispatch of 140 gas tankers to the governorates of Aden and Taiz during the first week of March, an increase over the allocated quota for the two governorates.
The company’s Executive Director, Engineer Mohsen bin Wahit, indicated that Aden governorate’s weekly quota increased from 32 gas tankers to 65 tankers, while the number of gas tankers dispatched to Taiz governorate reached 75 tankers, an increase of 39 tankers over its allocated quota.
The company’s Executive Director called on security and military agencies and local authorities to activate their supervisory role over domestic gas and its distribution in markets to ensure its access to deserving citizens and hold those who manipulate it accountable.
