Human Rights Observatory: 19 Violations Against Journalists in Yemen During February

Nineteen violations against media freedoms in Yemen were recorded during February 2025, according to a report issued by the Media Freedoms Observatory.
The violations ranged from arrests, interrogations, and trials, targeting journalists for their work and media activity.
The Houthi group recorded the highest rate of violations, with 14 cases, while the Yemeni government and other parties recorded five violations.
The recorded violations were distributed across several Yemeni governorates, including Sana’a, Aden, Al Dhale’e, Taiz, and Hadramout.
