Opening Of An Educational Center In Marib With Kuwaiti Funding

The Khadija Bint Khuwailid Educational Center was opened in Marib Governorate, with funding from the Kuwaiti “Insan Khairiya” Foundation and implemented by the “Kafil Humanitarian Development Charity” Foundation.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials in the local authority, educational staff, students’ parents and dignitaries of the region, and the attendees stressed the importance of this project in creating a suitable educational environment that contributes to building the future of generations.
During the opening, the governor’s deputy, Abdrabbu Miftah, praised the generous Kuwaiti support for educational projects, which represent the cornerstone of a better future and will contribute to providing better educational opportunities for students in Marib, adding that this support reflects the role of Kuwait, government and people, in supporting the Yemeni people in these difficult circumstances our country is going through.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Kafil Humanitarian Development Charity Foundation, Muhammad Mukharesh, said that the educational center includes 12 classrooms for primary and secondary education, equipped with school furniture, in addition to the school administration building, a mosque and a residence for the imam, at a cost of nearly 650 thousand Saudi riyals.
